1. Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using nurho.net (the "Site") you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Site. These Terms apply to all visitors and users.
2. About Nurho
"Nurho" refers to the sole-proprietor automation studio of the founder, based in Helsinki, Finland, contactable at hello@nurho.net. References to "we", "our" or "us" in these Terms mean Nurho.
3. Use of the Site
The Site is provided for informational purposes, to describe Nurho's services and let prospective clients book a call. You may view, read and link to the Site for personal and business-informational purposes.
4. Acceptable use
When using the Site you agree not to:
- Use the Site in a way that violates applicable law, infringes any third party's rights, or breaches these Terms.
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Site or its infrastructure without prior written permission.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site, server, or related infrastructure.
- Use any automated means to scrape content beyond what is reasonable for crawlers respecting
robots.txt. - Use the Site to send unsolicited communications, conduct denial-of-service activity, or distribute malware.
5. Intellectual property
The content of the Site (copy, design, code, illustrations, and the Nurho name and word-mark) is owned by Nurho or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or otherwise exploit the Site's content without prior written permission, except for ordinary fair-dealing / fair-use such as quoting a short excerpt with attribution.
The visual workflow icons and grid motifs used on the Site are illustrative; they are not provided under an open-source licence and remain proprietary to Nurho.
6. Client engagements (where the real terms live)
These Terms govern use of the Site. They do not govern any client engagement. Where Nurho is engaged to design, build or operate an automation system, a separate written client agreement applies, typically including a statement of work, deliverables, milestones, payment terms, a Data Processing Agreement, and explicit terms governing intellectual property and ownership.
By design, Nurho's standard client agreement assigns full ownership of the delivered system (source code, configuration, documentation) to the client on payment. Specifics are confirmed in the signed agreement; nothing on this page modifies what that agreement says.
7. Third-party links and tools
The Site may link to or embed third-party services (for example, Cal.com for scheduling). Nurho does not control these services and is not responsible for their content, availability, or practices. Your use of them is subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
8. Warranty disclaimer
The Site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including without limitation any warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, non-infringement, or uninterrupted operation. Nothing on the Site constitutes professional advice; it is general marketing and informational content.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Nurho will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site. Nurho's aggregate liability for any direct damages arising from your use of the Site is limited to €100 (one hundred euros). Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law (including, where relevant, liability for personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation).
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Nurho harmless from any claim, loss, liability or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Site.
11. Privacy
Your use of the Site is also governed by the Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use and protect personal data.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to highlight the update before it takes effect.
13. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Helsinki, Finland. Where you act as a consumer, the foregoing does not deprive you of the protection of any mandatory provisions of the law of the country where you have your habitual residence.
